Most requested Feauters included:
- Windows Flag as Startbutton
- Black, Dark Theme (SLD)
- Normal Taskbar Height (not thin)
- Less Space between Caption Buttons
- Better Shadows
- No installer, just a simple theme

The Best thing?
- No UXtheme Patch requiered, therefore safest Visual Style(s) ever.

The Download and Installation of the VistaOSX Installer is NOT recommended anymore!

Due Windows Updates, a lot of DLL Files are changed in Vista, so installing VistaOSX could damage your Operating System.

If you already installed VistaOSX, try the following Steps.

If you still want to try VistaOSX, you can download the Visual Style, which doesnt modify any dll file and works on all Vista Versions without any Problem. Get it here [link]

How to Uninstall

- Enable Aero Theme

This Step is very important, in fact one of the most important. Right click on your Desktop and select "Personalize". Then Open the Theme Section and chose "Windows Vista" and click "Apply".

- Close open Applications

If RKLauncher (Dock) is still running, close it now.

- Remove VistaOSX Folder

Go to "C:/" and simply delete the whole "VistaOSX '09" Folder.

- Uninstall System Files

Now the more tricky part. Open the Startmenu and type "cmd" and press enter. The Command Line will open up. type in "sfc /SCANNOW" without the quotes. This process will take some time (up to 30 minutes), so just be patient. Windows will maybe ask you to put in your Vista DVD. After the process is finished, close the command line and reboot.

- Restore Icon Cache

1. Right-click on the Desktop.
2. Select Personalize and select Display Settings.
3. Change the Color from 32 bit to 16 bit and click Apply.
4. Change the Color back to 32 bit and click Apply.

- Finish

To Finish all Steps, just Reboot again now. If you want to apply 3rd Party Themes, you will need to patch your UXtheme again.

If the steps didn't work, try to install Service Pack 2 for Windows Vista and try again. Make Sure you follow all steps without leaving parts of it.

I really liked vista os x and I he thenew one that wont harm my operating system and everything is the same but the icons. Could you make something that came seperately (not with vista os x) that does the same thing that vista os x did with the icons? It would be really awsome if they didnt have to be installed manally as well. Thank you for your time and I hope that you take my idea into consideration.
PS.
I am a HUGE fan of your work. keep it up ~patrickgs!
